How See 360 Degrees virtual reality tours are helping me to find my way around vibrant Manchester

About a month ago I had the pleasure introducing you to an exciting new but fast growing business based in Manchester called See 360 Degrees, specialising in commercial 360 degrees virtual reality videos. These guys have definitely not sat still since, besides already having quite an impressive video log of virtual tours under their belt. To mention a couple: Revolution, Royal Nawaab Manchester London, Mac Aesthetics, TigerTiger, Manchester Apartments and The Living Room. Embracing my new role as Head of Digital Content and Advertising for Social Proof Media in collaboration with Mad about Manchester and Essyentials we are here to help promote clubs, bars, venues and other businesses in Manchester and surrounding areas.

However, as I am fairly new to the area I swiftly learned watching 360 degrees virtual tours are a great way to help you familiarise with a new environment and give you a perfect impression of what to expect. Currently I am on the lookout for a number of bars and restaurants to feature in our brand new 2019 social media campaigns, so I am regularly attending network events and meetings to find new potential clients in Manchester.

Meeting up with a client in The Living Room recently I remembered See 360 Degrees had produced a virtual video for this stylish restaurant and cocktail bar. I decided to have a closer look at this 360 degree tour. One, to find out what to expect and two, because I wanted to experiment if these virtual videos are really as cool as they are claimed to be. An hour or so before my meeting I sat down in front of my laptop with a cup of green detox tea attentively taking in the virtual tour. Zooming in on the lush pink leather booths, checking out the liquor behind the bar and making sure to memorise the perfectly captured bird’s eye view of the street The Living room is situated at so for once I might not get lost! Did I get lost after watching the See 360 degree virtual tour? No, for once I confidently found a new venue in one go! (OK google maps did help a little here as well) Could I find the restroom without pestering the staff? Yes! Did the virtual tour impression of The Living Room live up to walking through the doors in person? Most definitely! It was a bit like déjà vu. I knew my way around despite never had set one foot in this venue and walked in enthusiastically and full of confidence. Would I watch virtual tour again in the future to familiarise myself with a place or before booking a venue for a party? 100% yes!
