Flash Back – Photo shoot fun with Latex
Who said latex can’t be classy for women over 40?
I always feel humble and grateful when shooting with one of the best creative people on the block. After all I do is turn up, stand and pose, trying not trip over my two left feet!
Helen Tieman, model and latex designer at Amentium created this queen of hearts inspired pencil skirt especially for this shoot. Helen has been growing from strength to strength and her latex collection is simply outstanding .The latex cape is such a stunning piece, so classy yet so sassy and elegant.
To be around expertise photographer Dougie Smith of Flash Bang Wallop is always such a delight. I owe a lot to Dougie as he was one of the first photographers, who took a chance to shoot lil old Dutch me when I had no port folio and had hardly shooting experience at all. I couldn’t have wished for a nicer photographer to have one of my first proper photo shoots with. Dougie not only gave me an opportunity to experience a well thought through and organised shoot but he gave me the confidence to think I was not too old, too short, too ugly to be a model.
Nicci Cawthorne a well established MUA, who has been involved in lots of published editorial images and on worked on TV sets, was a total joy to work with. Not only is she excellent at her job she is such a pleasure to be around.
I always aim to leave a shoot hoping the people I worked with loved being around scatty and clumsy me. As well as I truly hope I will be collaborating with these three creative humans in the near future again!
